School marketing · School staff

Marketing & directory

Self-paced · updated with each release

Audience: School admins, marketing coordinators, admissions heads
Duration: ~1 hour
Prerequisites: Getting started · Counselor guide

Learning objectives

  • Keep your public Skolzo listing accurate and on-brand
  • Run marketing campaigns that feed the admissions pipeline
  • Understand directory plans and sponsored visibility
  • Connect enquiries to leads automatically

1. Public discovery flow

Parent on skolzo.com → enquiry → CRM lead → counselor follow-up

Your directory listing is the front door; CRM is where staff work leads (Counselor § Leads).

2. Listing & profile

Route Purpose
/school-panel/listing Preview public school page
/school-panel/directory-listing SEO fields, enquiry form, CTAs
/school-panel/photos Gallery order and captions
/school-panel/programs Grades and programs shown publicly
/school-panel/admission Admission policy text

After edits, verify on skolzo.com (may take a short cache window).

3. Marketing hub

Route: /school-panel/marketing

  • Plan term campaigns (open day, scholarship window)
  • Link UTM parameters to lead sources for Campaign ROI
  • Coordinate with /school-panel/campaigns for outbound telephony/WhatsApp

4. Directory plans (advertising)

Route Purpose
/school-panel/directory-plans Sponsored placement options
/erp/directory-plans Same from ERP login

Skolzo subscription (core CRM/ERP plan, payment method, seats) is documented in Plans, billing & usage — not parent fee invoices (Finance).

5. Lead source hygiene

In leads inbox, filter by source (directory, campaign, WhatsApp, import). Accurate sources improve Principal analytics.

Route: /school-panel/leads/import for offline events.

6. Franchise groups

Multi-campus groups manage brand centrally — see Franchise HQ before overriding campus listings.

Practice exercise

  1. Update one program and photo on the directory listing.
  2. Submit a test enquiry from the public page and find the lead in CRM.
  3. Tag the lead source and assign a counselor.
